Geez, haven't posted a bit this week... lots of stuff going on, and just didn't take the time to sit down and blog. I had my first experience with a mammogram over the last couple of weeks; had been having a lot of pain on one side, and went for diagnostic tests and an ultrasound last week. They found a couple of areas of concern, so I had a biopsy on Monday. Everything turned out fine, both areas were benign. It was a relief to get the news, and really made me appreciate what an awesome group of women work at the breast care clinic at our hospital.
Now we're in St. Clair at my parents' home for Easter weekend. Jace and I headed to St. Clair yesterday afternoon, planning to head into St. Louis today to my brother's for an Easter egg hunt. But with the flooding we've had in MO, the highway between St. Clair and St. Louis is closed in a couple areas and we would have had to take a detour. So we decided to all stay put at my folks, and do our own egg hunt here. Paige helped Jace and my nephews, Landon and Payton, dye some eggs a few minutes ago, and we're getting ready to go hide some plastic eggs with candy outside in a bit. Unfortunately, it was 60+ degrees yesterday, and only 45 degrees today... c'mon, Spring-- hurry up and get here, we are sick of this cold weather!
